The Canadian South Devon Association is a non-profit, member-owned organization that was formed in 1975 to encourage, develop and regulate the breeding of South Devon cattle in Canada.

This breed offers the cattle industry tremendous value in terms of both maternal qualities and terminal traits. South Devon steers and bulls on test consistently prove to be exceptionally feed efficient animals, thus earning them strong demand from the feeding industry. Cow-calf producers are particularly fond of the excellent milking ability and gentle disposition of the breed.

All of this combines to provide the industry with one of the most complete beef animals available.
